I wasn’t expecting much given the prices, but this place really surprised me. The food is simple, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Portions are generous, ingredients taste fresh, and nothing feels overdone or pretentious. You get that home-cooked quality without paying a fortune.

It is undoubtedly one of the finest Portuguese cafés in Camden, showcasing an array of delightful dishes that never fail to satisfy. The food is remarkable, featuring fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that transport you straight to Portugal. The attentive staff is consistently friendly and efficient, ensuring that you feel welcomed and well-cared-for during your visit. You absolutely need to experience this café for yourself!

This felt like coming home. We popped in on a Sunday morning to have a quick bite and had the loveliest time. Our ham and cheese toasties (tosta mista) were just like back in Portugal and it was great to have them with Ucal, Compal mango and Sumol pineapple! We also got custard tarts (pastéis de nata) to take away and they were delicious. The staff are lovely and make you feel welcome and looked after. I’ve added photos of the menu because it has it all. We love it here! EDIT: We returned 3 days later to have some lunch and our steak sandwiches (pregos) with chips were delicious and washed down with a very comforting can of guaraná! EDIT 2: Returned a week later and had rissois (breaded prawn pockets), fofas de bacalhau (salt cod fish cakes), bifana (pork sandwich) and bitoque (steak, egg, chips and rice). All delicious!
